On Oct 20, Party Secretary Yan Li visited Wujin, Xinbei and other districts to organize a special investigation on Taiwan-owned enterprises to promote industrial science and technology innovation and Changzhou-Taiwan economic and trade cooperation based on the opportunity of building “strong, rich, beautiful, high” new Changzhou. He asked each relevant department of the whole city to help Taiwan-owned enterprises whole heartedly and solve problems during the development and promote the sustainable and healthy growth of the enterprises.

Changzhou CSC Precision Forging Material is a joint-venture set by the fortune 500 company Taiwan CSC, and it produces titanium alloy and tool and mould steel for aerospace, chemical, medical and other fields. Yan Li visited the factory and had talks with the chief to know more about the operation of the enterprise and the living situation of the Taiwanese businessman, and had on-site working meeting to ask related government departments to make solutions quickly and confirm the settlement.

Yan Li said that to face the pressure of economic transformation and upgrade, the deepening of Changzhou-Taiwan cooperation and communication and the promotion of Taiwan-owned enterprises transformation and upgrade have significant meaning to the peaceful development of the relations across the Taiwan Straits. He asked every related departments to provide more quality service to Taiwan-owned enterprises and help solve problems to further improve the developing environment of enterprises.
