On Oct 19, Mayor Fei Gaoyun led Changzhou delegation to attend the Sixth Jiangsu-Macau·Portugal Language Country Industry & Commerce Summit to seize the opportunity of deepening cooperation between Jiangsu and Macau and promote the communication and cooperation in various aspects between Changzhou and Macau and Portugal Language Country. During Oct 19-20, Changzhou delegation made some visits to companies and had negotiations. 

Deputy Mayor Fang Guoqiang also attended.

Fei Gaoyun and the delegation visited General Manager Wang Shaojun of Bank of China Macau Branch to have talks on financial service industry cooperation and hope to provide support for the deepening cooperation between Changzhou and Macau.

Fei Gaoyun and the delegation also had communication with Macau University of Science and Technology, which has become the important destination of Changzhou students and had cooperation with Changzhou’s hospitals. During the talk with the leadership, Fei Gaoyun expressed the hope that Changzhou could have more science and technology achievements from Macau University of Science and Technology to improve innovation and modern industry. The Vice President Tang Jiale said they will pay a visit to Changzhou soon to promote closer cooperation and train more young talents for the development of the two sides.

In the morning of Oct 20, Fang Guoqiang attended the Opening Ceremony of the 21st Macau International Trade and Investment Fair. Changzhou Chenguang Paint and other enterprises joined the fair.

Changzhou delegation also visited the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R. and other official agencies and enterprises.

By the end of last year, Changzhou has had 69 enterprises from Macau with 210 million USD of actual investment.
