On August 5, Mayor Fei Gaoyun met with President Jeroen de Groot of METRO China at the municipal administration center.

METRO is the No.1 cash and carry business group in the world and is the third retail and wholesale supermarket corporation with locations in 32 countries. Now METRO has already invested and set two branch stores in Changzhou.

Fei Gaoyun said that Changzhou attaches great importance to modern service industry and will give full support to METRO’s operations here.

Jeroen de Groot said that since METRO has invested in Changzhou in 2007, the company has gain remarkable performance, and it plans to have more close cooperation with Changzhou.
