Current Situation

Jiangsu Changzhou Economic Zone was established in June 2015, being located at the east entrance of Changzhou and the key strategic node of Shanghai-Nanjing Innovation Hallway and Yangtze River Economic Belt. It covers a total area of 181.28 square kilometers, boasts around 235 thousand of registered population, in which the resident population is about 395 thousand. The Zone includes 3 towns, 3 sub-districts, administrates 60 villages and 21 communities. In this area, the dense road network becomes smooth blood vessel: being intersected by Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway and Changshu-Hefei Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway and River-shore Intercity Railway have or will set up stops here, the Grand Canal, Xingou River and other rivers are connected to Taihu Lake and Yangtze River.
