On June 27, the Mayor Fei Gaoyun met with Tilo Quink, President and CEO of ThyssenKrupp (China) Ltd. at the administration center. Fei Gaoyun expressed his hope of more cooperation between Changzhou and ThyssenKrupp in many fields like strategic new industries.

Tilo Quink extended his gratitude to the support of Changzhou government for the company’s development and expected even more deepened cooperation.

ThyssenKrupp is a world famous German industrial giant with major business in materials, automotive tech, machine manufacturing, engineering design, trade and etc. In fiscal year 2014/2015 ThyssenKrupp generated sales of around €43 billion. Since 2012, ThyssenKrupp has invested an engine system company and a steering system company in CND, Changzhou. This February, the steering system project has been invested another 35 million USD for capital increase.
