On June 21-22, Changzhou delegation, led by Party Secretary Yan Li, visited He Houhua, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Li Gang, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R., and other political VIP. During the visit, Yan Li said that Changzhou always attaches great importance to the cooperation with Macau, and we hope to seize the opportunity of building up Jiangsu-Macau Cooperation Zone. He Houhua and Li Gang all showed their support to the prospect.

Since the preparation work of the Zone has begun, expertise from Macau visited Changzhou a lot. And the officials of the Macau S.A.R. appreciated much for the construction being done by Changzhou.

Yan Li also had a talk with the economic and financial officer of the Macau S.A.R. about long term communication mechanism. And the officer suggested to set a higher goal of the cooperation, which is to provide platforms for enterprises from Portugal language country.

Changzhou delegation visited some new developing areas of Macau, like Lu Dan Cheng, Portugal language country food exhibition center and so on, to promote new cooperation in these fields.

At the Newland Science & Technology Group Macau Investment Company, the delegation has gained the knowledge about the IP and technologies developed by the company itself. Yan Li said the company’s strategy of making good use of the platform of Macau to explore overseas market is worth learning for Changzhou enterprises, and hope the both sides can have some cooperation.
