On June 15, Terex Changzhou held a celebration ceremony for the 50^th anniversary of its brand Genie and the grand opening of Changzhou factory phase two. John L. Garrison, CEO of Terex, and Dai Yuan, Deputy Secretary of Changzhou CPC Municipal Committee, attended the activity.

In the speech, Dai Yuan said that Terex had achieved great progress in China market since it established the plant in Changzhou. And he promised that the government will support Terex’s development and provide high quality, convenient and efficient services to the company just as in the past.

John L. Garrison said that the phase two project in Changzhou stands for the group’s key step of further digging into China’s market, and it also proves the strategy of investing in China is correct.

Terex is one of the top 3 construction machinery equipment manufacturers in the world, and is also a fortune 500 company. Since it established the production base of aerial work platforms in Changzhou, 2008, the company has accumulatively invested about 57 million USD here, with over 31.9 million USD of registered capital. In 2015, the sales reached 140 million USD, and the annual growth rate exceeded 20%.

As it introduced, the phase two boasts 5 million USD of newly registered capital, and 8763 square meters of newly built workshop, which is mainly used for welding and warehousing.

The same day afternoon, Dai Yuan had a meeting with the delegation in Fudu.
