May 18, Nabtesco (China) Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. officially opened and started operation in WIZ (Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone). Yan Li, the Secretary of Changzhou CPC Municipal Committee, Cai Jun, the Member of Standing Committee of Changzhou CPC Municipal Committee and the Secretary General, and Li Xiaoping, the Deputy Mayor attended the ceremony.

Nabtesco (China) Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. is a joint-venture invested by Nabtesco and Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd., and mainly produces precision reducer, which is one of the key parts of industrial robot. Its major clients are the four big robot companies, ABB, YASKAWA, KUKA, FANUC. The Phase 1 annual capacity of the company is 100 thousand sets.
