On May 7, the Vice Mayor Li Xiaoping attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of Trauhui Medical Instrument’s project in Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone. Trauhui is an equity investment company founded in 1997, with business mainly in medical, education, brand operation and service in many European countries. In February 2014, Trauhui established a medical instrument company in Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone, focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of orthopedic medical instrument.

The new project boasts a total investment of 35 million USD, registered capital of 18 million USD, which will be divided into two phases. And the workshops cover an area of 40 thousand square meters. The capacity of this project will be very big after the production begins. In recent years, Wujin has attached great importance in medical and healthcare industries. There are almost 200 medical companies with certain strength running in the area, covering a lot of segment fields.
