Fei Gaoyun Meets with the President of Bombardier
On April 20, Mayor Fei Gaoyun met with Lauren Troger, the President of Bombardier Transportation Group.
Fei Gaoyun stated that Changzhou has had good cooperation experiences with Bombardier, projects have been made in rail transportation and aviation, etc. Changzhou expects more communications and stronger connections with Bombardier to together seize the opportunities not only in rail transportation but also in aviation industry. Changzhou government will always support Bombardier’s development in this city.
Laurent Troger said that Bombardier has had rapid development in Changzhou with the support of the government, and he hopes the both parties could seek more cooperation to make even better achievements.
Bombardier is generally the No.1 in rail transportation equipment manufacturer and service provider, and No.3 biggest civil aircraft manufacturer. Earlier in 2003, Bombardier had already cooperated with New United to establish a joint venture named Jiangsu Changqian Bombardier Propulsion System Co., Ltd., which produced cutting-edge rail car propulsion and control system products. In March 2014, the two companies again signed a cooperation agreement to build a joint venture together focusing on rail transportation signal system, communication and general monitoring, etc.
