150 companies have formed the industrial chain in Changzhou

As a strategic emerging industry, Changzhou photovoltaic industry relying on the advantages in the industrial chain, develops significantly faster than other industries, and strongly promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial economy in recent years. 

Presently there are 150 photovoltaic enterprises in the city, including 69 above-scale enterprises. Those have formed a relatively complete PV industry chain, the products of which cover crystal pulling, ingot casting, slice, batteries, components, system integration and photovoltaic equipment manufacture, installation, products development testing, photovoltaic applications, auxiliary materials, etc.

A group of leading key enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and self-owned brands have formed in Changzhou.

The industry layout of Changzhou photovoltaic enterprises mainly agglomerated in Changzhou National Hi-tech District, Jiangsu Jintan Economic Development Zone, and Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone.
