Fang Guoqiang meets with Australian guests
Fang Guoqiang briefed the guests about Changzhou’s social and economic development. He also hoped Changzhou would strengthen the cooperation and exchange with Australia after the signing of Sino-Australian free trade agreement so as to expand investment and export.
There is a long economic and trade cooperation history between Changzhou and Australia. Early in 1998, Changzhou and Hurstville of Australia become international sister cities. By the end of October in this year, Changzhou's imports and exports to Australia totaled $990 million. And there are 192 Australian enterprises have set up facilities in Changzhou.
