On the afternoon of December 8, 2015, Changzhou Party Secretary Yanli met with the Global President and CEO of Nissan Motor Toshiyuki Shiga, who is also  the president of Japan’s Motor Industry Association.

Yanli said, Changzhou is pushing the establishment of Ten Industry Chains with all strength, which includes automobile and parts industry chain, and he hoped the headquarter of Dongfeng Nissan would pay more concern and investment to the base in Changzhou, lead the Green Car to seek a new breakthrough and promote the cooperation with Changzhou. Meanwhile, Changzhou government would support the development of Dongfeng Nissan’s automobile project in Changzhou as always.   　

It is reported that as one of the three vehicle projects in Changzhou, the project of Dongfeng Nissan base is progressing smoothly. The first SUV production line was put into use in October this year. Upon completion, the annual production capacity will reach 150,000 units.
