Changzhou Now China's 12th Best City For Business
Forbes China yesterday published this year's lists of "Best Mainland Business Cities", and Changzhou is ranked 12th, the same place as last year. The list also ranks Changzhou first in index for vitality of its private sectors.
Since 2004, Forbes has ranked cities by evaluating indexes such as human resources, urban scale, consumption ability, passenger traffic, freight transport, operating costs, vitality of private economy, and innovation.
Forbes believes that the private sector plays an important role in the stable and rapid development of Changzhou's economy. In addition, the list ranks Changzhou 10th in index for innovation, which proves the capacity of Changzhou as a 'city of innovation.'
Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen rank in the top three. Nanjing, Wuxi and Suzhou are ranked in the 6th, 8th and 11th places respectively.
