AGCO (Changzhou) New Production Base puts into operation
On the morning of Sept. 8th, the new production base of AGCO (Changzhou) was formally put into operation at Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Park.
US AGCO Group is the world leading agricultural machinery manufacturer and devoted to the design, production and sales of agricultural machinery. In 2014, its net sales reached USD 9.7 billion. The group has set up 5 facilities in China including Changzhou.
The new production base of AGCO (Changzhou) is located in Wujin National Hi-tech Zone and the company was established in June of 2010. The total investment in Changzhou facility has reached USD 318 million. The annual production capacity of the tractors will reach 20,000 units, engines of 30,000 units and gearbox of 40,000 sets.
On the afternoon of Sept. 8th, vice governor of Jiangsu Xu Ming and Changzhou party secretary Yan Li visited the AGCO (Changzhou) facility.
